Hear Me Out: Agatha All Along Theories

So, instead of making my predictions before I watched the show, I decided to give it a few episodes so I could get my bearings. Currently, three episodes have been released, and I think I can say that I have some solid predictions and questions that should be answered by the end of this series. I do want to credit one of my favorite nerd podcasts, “New Rockstars,” for their extensive breakdowns that I watch every  week.

Now, the first thing I want to address and the hex curse. I am a fan who thinks and accepts that Wanda Maximoff is dead, like dead dead. Not she’s in another universe. Not she reincarnated into some other person. She is dead, yall. Now, going back to the hex. You may be wondering, “How was Agatha still in hex if Wanda is dead?” I’ll tell you how! Rio! I think Rio and or the Teen, we’ll get to them in a minute, continued to keep her under the hex to keep Agatha and her power, or the power they thought she had, under wraps until they wanted to use her for their own reasons: the witches’ road. It just so happens that she sees Rio while she’s in the hex, and the Teen apparently tells her that he got her out of the hex. I believe she was already released from the hex, but one of the two of them will be revealed to be the culprit who kept her under it.

Next, the Teen. The Teen is Agatha’s son. Not Wanda’s. Seems too convenient to be Wanda’s kid, for me. The conversation with Jennifer was intense for the kid. She seems to feel some type of way but not as if he knows something. It’s as if he feels something. I do agree with “New Rockstars” when they say that Teen doesn’t really know who he is. I think he does believe that his life began in Eastview and not with Agatha. Maybe Teen was drawn to Agatha because he’s her kid, which made him go look for her. As far as the sigil, I think either Agatha put it on the Teen or Rio put it on him. Rio, for me, is the key to a large majority of my theory. The bigger mystery of this is who is Teen’s dad and what happened to him? That’s the real question, and I’m not sure they’ll give us this answer unless we get a flashback to when he was born. I feel like they’ll flashback to when Agatha was on the road the first time. Which brings me to my next point…

There were some talks that maybe Agatha is lying and has never been down the road. I absolutely think that Agatha has been down the road based on how she reacted during the third episode. I’ll tell you what I caught. Immediately when they walked in the house, Agatha seemed to have this look of, “I’ve been through this before and I’ve got to get out.” You see this behavior displayed when everyone else is getting used to their surroundings and she is looking for a way out. Later, we see her hit the glass wall and crack it. We also see that she chucked her wine, and maybe because the others haven’t been down the road, she assumed no one would notice. Another little thing I caught, that’s so subtle, is the fact that when Jenn was freaked out about forgetting an ingredient, Agatha stepped in to be her cheerleader. Why? We know that’s not who Agatha is with other people, so why would she champion that Jenn could do this? Also, think about it, if you doubt me, why wouldn’t she just tell Jenn something along the lines of, “We have to get out of here! Pull it together.” She could have been mean, but she was nice. Motherly, as a matter of fact. I’m set in the fact that she’s been here before and will even go as far to say that she knows that each one of these witches will die. The question becomes…why these witches?

This brings me to my last point and prediction. Everyone will die. I’m sorry, y’all. Sharon is already gone (she won’t really supposed to be here anyway but…here we are now) and I predict we will get a full enough story on each of these witches before they die. There is a scene in the trailer that looks like Teen and Agatha are alone in a lab looking setup and I think this is one of the last episodes where it’s just Agatha and Teen left. Ultimately, we need to crack the code of what Rio wants. Going back to my prediction about Rio being behind Agatha still being in Wanda’s hex, it would explain why she would be humming the witches’ road song in the car in the first episode and help with when we see her pop up on the road (and I’m guessing here) in the next episode. Rio is the reason they’re on the road, but what does she want? What did Agatha do to her? Did she leave her for the man she had the child with and that’s what she’s mad? Is that why she could have been the person to put the sigil on Agatha’s son? (I’m going ahead and running with this theory) What would motivate Rio to do all of this? That’s another question that I think we will have an answer to by the end of this series, but I don’t have a theory as to why just yet besides revenge for loss of love.

As far as the Salem Seven, I think they are there as a threat to Agatha, but a threat that we can see and know is coming for her. I don’t feel like they will play a huge role in bringing Agatha down or in her and the witches on the road. She will have to confront them, but I’m keeping my eye on Rio.

Tell me, what do y’all think?
